You will need:
- Pipe cleaners
- Large pom poms
- Tiny pom poms
- Googly eyes
- Felt
- Scissors
- Glue gun or fabric glue
Step 1: Twist a pipe cleaner
Take a pipe cleaner and wind it round your finger to make a spiral coil.
Step 2: Gather your pieces for your animal’s face
For each pipe cleaner finger puppet take a large pom pom, a tiny pom pom (for the nose), 2 google eyes. Cut out some ear shapes from coloured felt.
Step 3: Glue on all the pieces to make your animal’s face
Glue a tiny pom pom onto a large pom pom to make your creature’s nose. Then glue on two googly eyes and two felt ears.
A glue gun works best for this project but fabric glue is a good alternative.
Step 4: Add the head to your pipe cleaner coil
Glue your little pom pom head to the top of your pipe cleaner coil. Your little wiggly jiggly finger puppet is now ready to play with.
Step 5: Make some funky friends
These pipe cleaner finger puppets are so quick and easy to make that you could easily make a whole family in one crafting session.
