This is such a fun firework craft for toddlers and young children. Use a simple toilet roll tube to print vibrant and colourful fireworks exploding in the night sky. A brilliant introduction to printing.
You will need:
- Toilet roll tubes
- Paint – bright colours
- Black paper or card
- Glitter (optional)
Step 1: Cut the toilet roll tubes
At the end of one toilet roll tube, make lots of little snips about 5cm long.
Keep snipping until the whole end of the tube has been cut.
Step 2: Fold back the cut ends
Fold back the cut ends of your tube to make your printers.
Step 3: Get printing
Dip your firework print into paint and start making prints on your black paper.
You can dip the printers into lots of different coloured paints to layer the colours.
Keep printing until you are happy with your firework display.
Step 4: Sprinkle on some glitter
If you want to add a little extra sparkle then sprinkle on some glitter while the paint is still wet.
