Summary:
Time: 10 minutes
Age: Little kids to Tweens
Difficulty: Easy peasy
You will need:
- Clear PVA glue
- Contact lens solution
- Bicarbonate of soda
- Glitter – we used silver and blue
Step 1: Add the ingredients
In a bowl pour in all the ingredients. For this slime recipe we used:
- One 6oz bottle of clear PVA glue
- One tablespoon of contact lens solution
- Half a tablespoon of bicarbonate of soda
- Glitter
Pour the glue, contact lens solution and bicarbonate of soda into a bowl.
You need to make sure that your contact lens saline solution contains Boric Acid and Sodium Borate or your slime will not work. So check the ingredients on the bottle carefully.
Step 2: Add some sparkle
Now add a generous amount of glitter into your mixture.
We used blue glitter and some tiny silver glitter stars.
Mix the ingredients with a spoon and then with your hands.
If your slime is really sticky add half a tablespoon more of contact lens solution.
Step 3: Your slime is ready to play with
It’s as easy as that. This slime is super easy to make and you can’t really go wrong.
Soon you’ll have soft, shimmering, sparkly slime to squish and squeeze.
It’s time to sparkle and slime!
If you had fun with this glitter slime could make other versions using different coloured glitters for the kids to enjoy.
