For the one day of the year, our boys were allowed to eat chocolate before breakfast after their egg hunt. Now they are expected it every day and having huge meltdowns now we’re having to ration the eggs. 🙈

My youngest shown very little interest in food until he was nearly 1! I breastfed him and was trying him with things from around 6 months but he mainly used to just sit and play with the food. He barely ate any of it until he was around 1, and even then it was only a little bit. He probably didn’t have proper little meals until he was around 18 months.

I’m anticipating my son getting a lot of Easter eggs from family next week, which is lovely of them but my son will eat them all really quickly if I don’t ration them. But then I feel like I’m being unfair not letting him have them

I breastfed my youngest well into toddlerhood. A lot of it was a comfort-thing I think more than nutrition but it really didn’t bother me. My family and in-laws wouldn’t let it drop though and we’re constantly making comments about how he needed to stop. I know of loads of people who’ve breastfed kids way past 3-4 years so for me it was really no big deal. Either way, not sure why people feel the need to interfere. As long as Mummy and Toddler are happy, what does it matter?

My son seems to pretty much expect some kind of pudding after every meal (except breakfast). I try and include fruit but unless it’s with something like Nutella he’s not impressed! I’m looking for some healthy options he will still see as “treat”
