These wholewheat chick pea crackers are made with freshly blended chickpeas, wholewheat flour and rolled oats. Healthy and so tasty, ours disappeared in no time.

Ingredients
400gramscanned chick peas
2 garlic cloves
½ cupjumbo rolled oats
½ cupwholewheat flour
6tbspolive oil(100mls)
1tbsppoppy seeds
½ tspsalt
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 180°C fan setting.
Rinse the canned chick peas well.
Place them in a blender along with the garlic cloves. Blend until crumbly.
Add in the rolled oats and wholewheat flour and blend.
Add in the poppy seeds, oil and salt and blend for a further minute.
Take out two sheets of parchment paper. Lay one out on a flat counter top and spoon the dough out on top of it. Cover with the second sheet of parchment paper and with a rolling pin roll the dough out until roughly ½ cm thick.
Cut the dough into squares and lift the squares onto a non stick or greased baking tray. Prick with a fork.
Cook for 20 minutes or until golden. Remove and enjoy!
Notes
Use rolled oats as opposed to quick or instant oats to get the best results.
