Ingredients
3bananasvery ripe
2tablespoonssmooth peanut butter
¾cupmaple syrup (180 ml)
1cupself raising flour(120 grams)
1canchick peas(400 g/15oz can)
¼cupcocoa powder(20 grams)
2teaspoonsbaking powder
1teaspoonvanilla extract
¾cupchocolate chips (100 grams) – optional
Instructions
Place the bananas, peanut butter and maple syrup in a mixer and blend until smooth.
Add in the chickpeas, cocoa powder, self-raising flour, baking powder and vanilla extract. Blend together.
Gently stir in the chocolate chips.
Empty the batter into a greased loaf tin and sprinkle with some more chocolate chips (optional).
Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (340°F) fan setting for 30 minutes or until a knife comes out clean.
Let it cool completely to room temperature before cutting into thick slices and enjoying.
