Kids love their tater tots. We’ve made this homemade version with these secretly healthy broccoli tots no breadcrumbs included. Packed full of fresh ingredients, toddlers can enjoy their tater tots as healthier little bites. They’re quick and easy to make too. Serve them up as tasty finger food for little ones or as a great side dish for mains.

Ingredients
300gramspotatoespeeled and roughly chopped
150gramsbroccolichopped and stems removed
100gramscheddar cheesegrated
1egglightly beaten
2tablespoonsgluten free oat flour(or you can replace with plain flour)
2 tablespoonsolive oil
Instructions
Peel and chop the potatoes and roughly chop the broccoli.
In a medium sized saucepan boil the potatoes for 10 minutes.
Add the broccoli to the pan with the potatoes and boil everything for 10 minutes more until soft.
Drain the potatoes and broccoli and mash them well with a fork.
Stir in the cheese, egg and flour, and mix it all well.
Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large frying pan until sizzling.
Dust your hands with flour and form the mixture into cylindrical tater tot shapes.
Place the broccoli tots into the oil and cook on a medium heat for about 2-3 minutes on each side.
