Summary:
Time: 10 minutes
Age: Toddlers to Big kids
Difficulty: Intermediate

You will need:
- Toilet rolls
- White tissue paper
- Scissors
- Glue
- Black pen
- Battery operated tea lights

Step 1: Draw an eerie outline
Draw the outline of your ghost on a toilet roll.
Make your ghost as tall as the paper roll and wider at the bottom, so that when you cut it out he will stand up.

Step 2: Cut out your ghost shape
Cut round the outline so that you end up with a card ghost shape.

Step 3: Cut out the middle
This is the only bit that’s a little tricky. Carefully cut out the middle of your card. Don’t cut right to the edge. Leave about half a centimetre along all the edges so that you end up with a card outline of your ghost.
Toddlers and little ones will need help from an adult to do this bit.

Step 4: Cover your ghost with tissue paper
Spread glue all the way round your ghost outline. Now place a sheet of white tissue paper on top. Leave your ghost to dry.

Step 5: Cut out your ghost and add the face
Once the glue is dry cut round your ghost to get rid of the excess tissue paper.
You will be left with a little tissue paper covered ghost. Now add eyes and a mouth, using a black pen.

Step 6: Time for the ghosts to glow
Place your ghost behind a battery operated tea light and switch it on. The tea light candle sends out an eerie glow from your little ghost.
Make a whole family of glowing paper ghosts for Halloween
