Kids will love making these. Give them a packet of lolly sticks, a bowl of melted white chocolate and a selection of sprinkles, and let them do the rest! We’ve chosen to use some multi coloured confetti sprinkles but you can decorate these Oreo pops however you like. You could add heart sprinkles for Valentines day, bright pink sprinkles for a girly birthday party, or use the colours of your party theme like bright blue and bright yellow.
You can even turn them into party bag gifts by placing the Oreo cookie pop in a clear plastic sleeve and tying little ribbons to the lolly sticks. Whatever you do, enjoy the making and the eating of these amazing Oreo pops!

Oreo pops – our step by step guide:
Take your Oreo cookies out of the package and place them on a plate that can be put into the microwave for 15 seconds.
This will soften up the inner cream layer and make it easier to separate the biscuits, so you can put the stick in.
Now take your lolly sticks and gently press them into the cream.
Working quickly, put the Oreo back together and press down gently.
Heating the cream also allows for a stronger bond.
Melt your white chocolate in a glass bowl resting over a saucepan of boiling water.
White chocolate is a bit fussier than dark chocolate about heat, so don’t microwave it (unless you watch it like a hawk) as it will burn within seconds.
The glass bowl will allow the chocolate to melt slowly and more gently.
Now pour your chocolate in a small bowl with a bit of depth.
You want the chocolate to be deep enough to be able to submerge the entire Oreo cookie in it.
Now you can decorate them with your chosen sprinkles.
We used brightly coloured confetti sprinkles which we laid out on a shallow place and rolled the Oreo pop around in until they were covered.
Otherwise you or the kids can also just sprinkle on your chosen sprinkles.
Enjoy these fab Oreo pops!
