Rice Krispie treats are often made with melted marshmallows. They’re tasty and easy to make, but they’re loaded with refined sugar. In fact, marshmallows are 100% sugar and have no nutritional value.
So, we’ve made a healthier recipe for Easter that substitutes peanut butter for marshmallows. Peanut butter is high in protein, magnesium, phosphorous, zinc, and Vitamin B6.
And your kids will also love helping you make these cute treats!
