During the week my son(8) is allowed healthier breakfasts like yogurts and oats and lower sugar cereal then at the weekend it's a bit of a free-for-all and he has things like a pain au chocolate. He keeps whinging on weekdays that he hates his breakfast and will only eat a pain au chocolat (spoiled!), I'm loathed to cave and let him have something so sugary but the other option is I send him to school with no breakfast
