Ugh dreading this conversation but I need to talk abojt in laws and rules. I get grandparents spoil their grandkids and I’m ok with grandma spoiling her. It’s just she doesn’t listen to my rules and I feel like almost does what she wants in front of my on purpose to prove a point…or maybe she just doesn’t agree and there no motive she could think it’s all no big deal. I am completely against my 5 month old watching tv. I’ve bent a little bit because my husband doesn’t care if she does but my MIL literally will put on a two hour movie and sit there and watch it with her. No I’m not gunna be crazy my kid can watch tv but at 5 months old! So unnecessary she is occupied with a million other things. She stands super close to the tv when she does it too. I’ve made how I feel known numerous times and it still happens right in front of me. She even said 20 min won’t hurt and put it on right in front of me and then stood not even a foot from the screen. Like why does no one agree that a 5 month old doesn’t need to watch tv! Idk if I am being crazy maybe it’s more that she didn’t listen to me at all. But like common why.
