Can you Make this Carrot Soup for a 6 Month Old Baby?

Yes this carrot soup uses only simple, mild ingredients that babies often enjoy as their first weaning foods.

If baby is only just starting solid foods, it can be a good idea for them to try the ingredients on their own first, before combining them into dishes such as this one.

For example here it would help if baby had tried a piece of pear or carrot or sweet potato before blending all 3 together.

This is just a precaution to check for any allergies.

A note about chicken stock: chicken stock should always be low sodium or homemade (not the stock cubes). Always check the sodium (salt) content and that it’s suitable for baby’s age.

If you’re unsure whether your chicken stock is suitable for baby, you can always replace it with warm water instead.
