Parsnip and Spinach Puree
Combine two nutritious ingredients with this parsnip and spinach puree to make a baby meal that’s creamy and nutritious. Great for first meals and weaning recipes.
Servings 2 small bowls
- 1 medium parsnip (about 100 grams) peeled and chopped
- 1 handful fresh spinach leaves (about 20 grams) washed
- Milk or water
Peel and chop your parsnip and wash the spinach leaves.
Place in a steamer together for 20 minutes until all the pieces are soft and cooked through.
Add them to a blender together with some milk (either regular cow’s milk or baby’s usual milk) or with some water, whichever you prefer.
Blend until smooth. Add a little more water or milk if needed to achieve desired consistency.
